Fire Cider

Fire cider is said to restore and invigorate one’s system, and additionally, many claim it has benefits that include boosting energy, warding off colds and flus, easing sinus congestion, lowering blood sugar, curbing cravings, and aiding digestion.

To craft our tonic, we start with a base of raw, certified organic apple cider vinegar. To this, we add whole, raw, organic ginger, horseradish, onions, and garlic. Then we toss in organic peppers for heat, turmeric for a bit of zing, elderberries for immunity and lemons and oranges for a citrus-y tang.

We let the mixture steep at room temperature—no heat involved—which preserves the living vinegar culture and allows the flavors to develop.  The result is a tonic that’s potent but balanced, with distinctive layers of tart and spicy flavors.

Our Fire Cider is made to order so please allow 2.5 weeks to prepare. Fire Cider is shelf-stable at room temperature and has a 24-month best-buy date.
